“This hotel is a cute little spot in an increasingly safe neighborhood within walking distance of Montmartre. It is an easy 25 minute walk from the Gare Du Nord. I booked a room with a view on the top floor, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The room is small but passable (no safe though, if you need that). The AC was not “enabled” since it was March, although whether that’s true or just classic French denial of something they don’t want to do remains to be seen. As such we kept our window open for air flow, and it’s important to note that the bar across the street is very busy until close at 3:30, with people talking loudly outside even on a Tuesday night.”
“The rooms are nice and properly equipped, cleaned daily. The breakfast is ok but not abundant. During the checkin when I asked when is breakfast served, they didn’t informed me that it was included in my reservation (which I thought it was). So I had to pay additionally at the checkout and in my opinion it wasn’t worth it. For the rest the stay was great. They have a locker room to leave your suitcase on the last day if needed.”
“Good value for money. We had a couple issues with a malfunctioning safe and a TV remote that didn’t work but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful where they could help. Great location, too, especially if you don’t necessarily need to stay in Le Marais. Quick métro ride away from Gare du Nord and easy to access Montmartre, Opéra, St Lazare, and the rest of the 9th.”
